Guillermo shared Shader Lab, an internal design tool Basement Studio built with Claude Code, three.js, Next.js, and Vercel, customized entirely to its own needs, vision, and specifications. He sees it as pointing toward the future of design: beyond this particular tool, every team can now build its own “design factory.” He argues that assembling software from powerful building blocks has become easier than finding and buying a suitable SaaS tool. The software factory itself becomes the product.

Box CEO Aaron Levie
Levie explored an important implication: AI agents require extensive deployment work, so the “forward deployed engineer” role will persist. When a vendor sells an agent to an enterprise, it is effectively selling a real workflow executed by technology, which is much closer to professional services than conventional software implementation. This requires deep knowledge of the customer's domain, help connecting systems, correctly configured context, and change management support to adapt business processes. He sees no shortcut: vendors must get directly involved or face low adoption. He also sees entirely new growth opportunities for systems integrators and consultancies—another area of work that will endure.

Garry open-sourced GBrain, his personal knowledge graph tool, under the MIT license, free to use. He built it in 12 days with OpenClaw and GStack, an open-source agentic coding toolkit with 70,000 GitHub stars. His own GBrain already holds more than 17,000 pages and continues to grow. He also said that Docker sandboxes, mitmproxy firewall logs, and Clawvisor have largely resolved OpenClaw's security issues, making the objection that it is “unsafe” outdated.

Replit CEO Amjad Masad
Amjad proposed an interesting product feature: if frontier models such as Mythos can discover security vulnerabilities fully autonomously, GitHub should add a metric for open-source projects, analogous to stars, showing the compute spent hardening a package. It could make the effort AI has spent reviewing each package immediately visible, providing a new form of assurance that an open-source project is trustworthy.

Whenever Nikunj sees a post claiming something was “vibe coded in a weekend,” he thinks of the complexity of Slack's notification system. Although vibe coding will replace many simple workflows, he believes quality, depth, and excellent systems still take time to develop. What cannot be vibe coded is “experience and insight.” He adds that giving Claude Code a system architecture diagram can get a great deal done in one shot, but achieving the clarity AI needs to understand it takes time in itself. His central point is that clear thinking, depth, and persistence remain valuable in the AI era.

Zara shared how she built a tool to rework Chrome's new-tab page. After discovering that Chrome browsing history lives in a local database that an LLM can parse, she tried turning the new-tab page into an entry point for LLM insights. Users already visit it frequently, so no extra click is needed. She built a page displaying all tabs and using an LLM to group them by “task,” then simplified it by removing the LLM functionality and focusing on the core need: clearly displaying and closing tabs. She also argues that in AI, “play”—exploring models' limits without an instrumental goal—is itself part of the work, rather than wasted time.
